Accreditations

Following the success of our management restructuring in May 2003, and coinciding with our tenth anniversary, Ascot Autoclaves Ltd  have been fully certified as a class 2A Medical device manufacturer.

The company achieved accreditation to BS EN ISO 13485: 2003 through the Notified Body SGS Yarsley. This now allows Ascot to design and manufacture autoclaves for use in Hospitals and Clinics where sterilization of instruments and other medical equipment intended for use on Humans takes place. Any sterilizer used to sterilize medical devices must bear the "CE" marking with the appropriate Notified Body identification.

Ascot Autoclaves have upgraded our Quality Management System to fully comply with the latest Quality Standard - BS EN ISO 9001: 2000. This Quality Management System has also been audited and certified by SGS Yarsley and applies to all aspects of our business.

The accredited Quality Management System will impact upon Ascot's Servicing and Testing business, where reliability and competence link with the highest level of service to satisfy all our customer's requirements
